Lets meet with Md.Arafat Islam
In the peaceful village of Helalpur in Namoshankarbati, Chapainawabganj Sadar, lives a brave little boy named Mohammad Arafat Islam. At just five years old, Arafat has already faced more hardship than many do in a lifetime.
His challenges began the day after he was born, when he suffered from severe seizures. Rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, Arafat spent seven long days in critical care. Though he was able to return home, his fight was far from over.
Now, at five, Arafat still cannot speak and shows signs of extreme restlessness. He moves constantly, unable to stay still—his body full of energy, but his world clouded by the developmental hurdles he faces. Every day is a struggle for his family, not just emotionally, but financially as well.
Arafat is the only child of his parents. His father, Tohidul Islam, sells fruit to support the family, while his mother, Mosammat Tania Khatun, stays at home to care for him. Despite their unwavering love and dedication, their limited income has made it incredibly difficult to afford the specialized treatment Arafat needs.
Thanks to the intervention of the UHCD Foundation, Arafat is now receiving modern medical care. This has been a lifeline—but for real progress and improvement in his condition, he needs advanced therapy and ongoing treatment that the family simply cannot afford on their own.
That’s why Arafat’s parents are making a heartfelt appeal—to kind, compassionate individuals who can help make a difference in their child’s life. They dream of a day when Arafat can speak, play, and live like other children his age. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings that dream closer to reality.
Arafat may be small, but his strength is mighty. With your support, this little fighter can take his first steps toward a brighter, more hopeful future
