Lets meet with Md.Tahmid Hossain
Tahmid Hossain is an inspiring young boy from Rajshahi, Bangladesh, whose spirit shines brightly despite the immense physical challenges he faces. Born with a condition that prevents him from walking or using his hands, even the simplest daily tasks are a struggle. Yet, Tahmid meets life with remarkable strength and determination.
While many children his age might feel defeated by such limitations, Tahmid's love for learning keeps him going. He is a bright student who quickly understands new concepts, and his eyes light up when he talks about school. He dreams of excelling in his studies, of one day standing tall through the power of knowledge, even if his legs won’t carry him there.
His father, a mason, works hard each day to provide for the family, but his income is barely enough to cover their basic needs. His mother lovingly cares for Tahmid around the clock. Still, the cost of the medical treatment and therapy that could help Tahmid gain some independence is far beyond what they can afford. Each day is a struggle — not just financially, but emotionally — as they watch their son face obstacles they cannot remove.
Tahmid’s family holds on to the hope that with the right support, their son can rise above his physical barriers. With therapy and care, Tahmid could strengthen his abilities, improve his quality of life, and continue to thrive in his education.
Your kindness can bring that hope to life. By supporting Tahmid, you are not only helping a young boy move closer to independence — you are investing in his dreams, in his education, and in the future of a family that refuses to give up
