Lets meet with Mst.Sarmin
Mosammat Sharmin Khatun is a 14-year-old girl from Tikra, Moharajpur, in the Sadar upazila of Chapainawabganj district. At birth, she was a normal and healthy child. However, when she was eight years old, she suffered an injury to one of her eyes. After the injury, her eyes began to water continuously, and gradually, the pupil of her eye turned white. Since then, she has been experiencing problems with her vision. Along with her visual impairment, she has also shown signs of low cognitive ability.
Sharmin is the eldest among two siblings—she has a younger brother. Her father, Mohammad Selim, works as a vegetable vendor, earning a very modest income. Her mother, Ayesha Khatun, is a homemaker who takes care of the family. Due to the family's limited financial condition, it has become increasingly difficult for them to cover both the household expenses and the cost of Sharmin’s medical treatment.
Despite their best efforts, they have been unable to provide her with the advanced treatment she urgently needs. Doctors have advised that she requires specialized medical care, which could potentially improve her condition and help her return to a more normal life. However, the cost of such treatment is far beyond what the family can afford.
Therefore, Sharmin’s family is humbly reaching out for help from kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and the wider community. Any form of financial support or assistance would be a blessing for them in this difficult time. Your contribution can give Sharmin a chance at proper treatment and a brighter future. Let us come together to support her recovery and help her live a healthier, more fulfilling life.
