Ishtiaq Rashid Nafis is a 6-year and 3-month-old child from Ramkrishnapur, Bottola Haat, under the Chapainawabganj Municipality in Chapainawabganj Sadar. When Nafis was just one and a half years old, he tragically fell from the rooftop of his home. Since that accident, his development has been severely affected. Currently, Nafis cannot speak, and his left hand is extremely weak, with almost no strength or mobility. He also suffers from developmental delays and struggles with intellectual functions. He cannot behave or act like children his age. He often wanders around without awareness, and his behavior is unpredictable. Nafis is the only child of his parents. His father, Md. Harunur Rashid, is still a student and does not have a stable income. His mother, Mosammat Sultana Parvez Priti, is a homemaker. With very limited financial resources, Nafis’s family is struggling to meet basic household expenses, let alone bear the high cost of proper medical care and therapy that Nafis urgently needs. Despite their difficult situation, the family is not giving up. They are reaching out with hope in their hearts, seeking support from kind and generous individuals who may help bring Nafis a chance at a better life.
