Lets meet with Sanjida Binty Ujjal
In a quiet village surrounded by open fields and dusty roads, lives an 8-year-old girl named Sanjida. From the moment she was born, life gave her challenges that most children never have to face. Her legs are shortened, her spine is curved, and her tiny hands are bent in ways that make even the simplest tasks—like holding a spoon—difficult.
Sanjida cannot walk. She spends most of her days sitting quietly, watching the world move around her, longing to be part of it. But what Sanjida lacks in physical strength, she makes up for with a bright, unwavering spirit. Her eyes light up when she hears stories about school, learning, and friendship. Inside her heart, there is a deep yearning—a dream to study, to grow, and to be someone one day.
Doctors have seen her. Hospitals have been visited. But every road to recovery leads to one painful truth—her treatment is expensive, far beyond what her family can afford. Her parents, unable to carry the weight of her needs, have left. The burden of care has fallen on her aging grandparents.
Her grandfather, a humble farmer with calloused hands and a heart full of love, does everything he can. But his efforts are not enough to pay for the therapy, medical consultations, and special education Sanjida needs. Still, every evening, Sanjida greets him with a smile—quiet, gentle, but full of unspoken dreams.
Sanjida is more than her disability. She is kind, hopeful, and incredibly intelligent. She listens, observes, and imagines a world where she can go to school, laugh with classmates, write her name on a chalkboard, and maybe one day, tell her story to inspire others.
Her journey is not easy, but with a little help, it can change.
