Habiba is an inspiring 11-year-old girl who has lived with hearing and speech impairments since birth. Despite these significant challenges, her spirit remains unshaken. She attends Bakerganj Handicapped School, where her eagerness to learn and connect shines through every day.
However, the absence of medical care has severely limited her ability to communicate and fully participate in her education and daily life. Her family, already burdened by poverty, has never been able to afford a proper diagnosis or treatment to improve her condition.
Habiba’s father works long hours as a daily laborer, doing everything he can to provide for the family. But his modest income barely covers basic needs, let alone the specialized care and resources that Habiba requires to thrive.
